Research has shown that CBT-I improves sleep in 70-80% of patients, offering a more effective solution than sleeping pills for most individuals. 

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is a structured, evidence-based approach aimed at addressing the frustrating symptoms of insomnia. It helps you develop the tools and insights necessary to identify and replace thoughts and behaviors that may be disrupting your sleep. By learning to recognize and manage unhelpful emotions and behaviors, you can cultivate healthier responses that promote positive feelings, ultimately allowing you to achieve better sleep

Our initial visit, consist of a thorough sleep evaluation, discussing your nighttime and daytime symptoms to identify the underlying causes of your sleep disturbances. Our discussion will serve as a solid foundation for shaping our therapy approach.

While implementing the principles of CBT-I, we will explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that contribute to insomnia. We'll also discuss how to utilize your body's natural sleep controls more effectively to enhance your sleep quality.

The therapy provides a hands-on approach, enabling you to evaluate your sleep issues, explore positive solutions, and adopt new behaviors for better sleep. Through self-assessment, you actively engage in your treatment, allowing you to clearly identify ways to enhance your sleep.

Who is the sleep clinician/coach

My journey to becoming a Sleep Clinician has been unique, shaped by more than 12 years in the field of Sleep Medicine across various roles. From working in a sleep lab to becoming a Somnologist, I have had the privilege of treating hundreds of patients along the way.


These experiences have taught me the vital role of empathy and understanding, and I've come to realize how important it is for everyone to have a coach—someone who stands by your side and helps you achieve your goals.​


I hold a Master’s Degree in Sleep Medicine and posses the Somnologist - Physician Assistant designation from the European Sleep Research Society. Additionally, I am a Certified Clinical Sleep Health Educator through the American Board of Registered 
Polysomnographic Technologists.
